The Social Alley aims to bring people regardless of race, ethnicity, material wealth or social class together. Just like how the coronavirus doesn’t discriminate, we don’t either.
We are a humble restaurant located in an alley along Holland Village, Singapore. The Social Alley was born during the COVID-19 pandemic, whereby for a period of time, all citizens had to be quarantined and social distancing became a norm. With minimal social interaction, this circumstance has forced us to adapt to changes within weeks and has inevitably transformed relationships between millions of people. Harnessing the lessons from a single novel virus, we have come to realise that all of us are, ultimately, human beings fighting a common enemy.
